Privacy Policy

Last revised, June 2026

This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have under UK data protection law (UK GDPR). We keep this site deliberately light on data collection.

The newsletter and your email address

The only personal data we collect is the email address you give us when you sign up to the newsletter. We collect it for one purpose: to send you new-release announcements about the What You Already Wanted books by T.M.Green. We do not use it for anything else, and we never sell or share it for marketing by others.

Newsletter sign-ups are processed by MailerLite, our email service provider, who store and send the newsletter on our behalf. Sign-up uses double opt-in: after you submit your address, MailerLite sends a confirmation email, and you are only added to the list once you click the link in that email. This confirms the address is yours and that you genuinely want to hear from us. The lawful basis for this processing is your consent.

Cookies and analytics

We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) to get a rough picture of how many people visit and which pages they read. This analytics sets no tracking cookies, does not follow you across other websites, and does not identify you as an individual.

Because we set no tracking cookies and run no advertising or cross-site tracking, there is nothing that requires your consent under the cookie rules. That is why you will not see a blocking cookie consent banner on this site. There is simply nothing to consent to.

Unsubscribing and your rights

You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every newsletter email. Once you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you and your address is erased, not archived. Under UK GDPR you also have the right to ask what data we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to have it erased.

Contact

If you have any questions about this policy or want to exercise your rights, please write to us at contact@whatyoualreadywanted.co.uk, and we will answer plainly and as soon as we can.
